Genesis Dental participates in the scheme as a bulk billing provider, meaning there’s no gap for covered services. Benefits cover a range of essential treatments to keep your child’s teeth healthy from their first check-up through to their teens.
CDBS Eligibility and Covered Dental Services for Children
To access CDBS benefits at Genesis Dental, your child must meet the following criteria set by the Australian Government. Confirming eligibility takes just a moment — our team can check at your appointment.
- Your child must be aged 2 to 17 years at any time during the calendar year the claim is made.
- Your child must receive, or live with someone who receives, a qualifying government payment such as Family Tax Benefit Part A, Parenting Payment, Carer Payment, or Disability Support Pension.
- Benefits are capped at $1,095 per child over two consecutive calendar years.
- Covered services include check-ups, x-rays, dental cleans, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals, and extractions.
